Mendel, jeune homme exalté et solitaire, mène des expériences ésotériques chez lui. Un jour, il découvre à la place de la porte de sa salle de bain une passerelle lui donnant accès à l'appartement d'inconnus: Félix et Leyla. Après les avoir observés en cachette pendant quelques temps, il décide de venir en aide au couple qui traverse des difficultés. Par des expériences nouvelles, Mendel parvient à se mouvoir de mieux en mieux dans le temps. Il contacte Félix et lui fait part de ce qu'il a appris. Ensemble, ils tentent d'empêcher ce qui doit arriver. Mais quoi qu'ils fassent, les événements prévus surviennent et Leyla progressivement se détache de Félix. Le champ des possibles se restreint. Les événements échappent à Mendel et les deux garçons manquent de temps pour rectifier un scénario de plus en plus inéluctable. Leyla s'évapore de la réalité construite par les apprentis sorciers. Félix et Mendel n'ont plus d'autre choix que de revenir à l'instant de leur rencontre et de l'empêcher.

 

A young hot-head called Mendel one day  opens the door to his bathroom only to discover that it enables him to enter the appartment of two complete strangers :  Felix and Leyla.  At first, Mendel watches Felix and Leyla secretely, but they’re a couple experiencing difficulties and after a while he decides he wants to help them. Mendel manages to control his body and mind in such a way that he suceeds in becoming part of the couples present and future. He contacts Felix and informs him of the  things he has learnt. Together, they try to prevent what is happening. But whatever they do, and plan, the predicted events still come to pass and  Leyla gradually drifts away from Felix. The range of possibilities narrows. Events seem to be stronger than Mendel and the two boys don’t have enough time to rectify a script that seems more and more inevitable. Leyla evaporates out of reach from the reality constructed by the two apprentice sorcerers. Felix and Mendel have one last solution: to return to the moment they first met and prevent them meeting.
